2011 FedEx Accessorial Fee List

The following 2011 FedEx accessorial fee surcharge changes took effect Jan. 4, 2010, unless otherwise noted FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground®, and FedEx Home Delivery® services. Please refer to the FedEx Service Guide for a complete list of charges and any increase that might have taken place since this list was compiled.

Here’s a partial list of FedEx’s accessorial fees for 2011:

Fees - FedEx

  1. FedEx Express $11 per address correction.
  2. FedEx Express U.S. freight services $55 per address correction.
  3. International FedEx Express package and freight services $11 per address correction.
  4. FedEx Ground $10 per address correction.
  5. * FedEx Ground Multi-weight pricing, the fee is $10 per package up to a maximum of $35 per shipment.
  6. Accessible dangerous goods, $70 per package
  7. * Shipments containing inaccessible dangerous goods, $35 per package.
  8. FedEx Express international package shipments and international freight shipments containing accessible dangerous goods, the greater of $110 per shipment or $0.60 per lb.
  9. For shipments containing inaccessible dangerous goods, the greater of $55 per shipment or $0.30 per lb.
  10. FedEx Express declared-value charges $0.70 per $100 of value.
  11. * The charge applies to shipments valued in excess of $100, and the minimum charge increased from $1.95 to $2.10.
  12. * FedEx Express, the charge applies to the value in excess of $100 or $1 per lb., whichever is greater.
  13. * For international services, the charge applies to the value in excess of $100 or $9.07 per lb., whichever is greater.
  14. FedEx Ground declared-value charges$0.70 per $100 of value.
  15. The charge applies to shipments valued in excess of $100, and the minimum charge increased from $1.95 to $2.10.
  16. Delivery Area Surcharge for commercial shipments $1.70 per package.
  17. Delivery Area Surcharge shipments $2.50 per package * NOTE: Effective Jan. 18, 2010, an additional $0.25 fee will be assessed on packages delivered to residential addresses in certain ZIP codes within the contiguous U.S. Also, a new $6 fee will apply to packages delivered to certain remote Hawaii ZIP codes originating from the contiguous U.S., Alaska or Hawaii, for applicable FedEx Express U.S. services.
  18. FedEx Express U.S. package services, the charge FedEx C.O.D. $10 per package.
  19. FedEx Express U.S. freight services, the charge FedEx C.O.D. $55 per shipment.
  20. Direct Signature Required $3 per package.
  21. Adult Signature Required $4 per package
  22. FedEx Ground Call Tag pickup for commercial locations $8 per package
  23. Ground Call Tag pickup residential pickup $8 per package
  24. FedEx Ground C.O.D. $10 per package.
  25. FedEx Ground currency C.O.D. deliveries in the U.S. and Canada, the additional charge per package $10 for currency collection up to $500, increasing from $450. Above that amount, an additional charge of 2% of the currency amount collected is assessed. The minimum additional charge for currency C.O.D. $20 per package for all destinations.
  26. For applicable FedEx Ground, the charge FedEx Ground E.C.O.D. $10 per package.
  27. FedEx Ground, the surcharge for packages containing hazardous materials $25 per package
  28. Oversize packages $50 per package.
  29. FedEx Express, the fee for a rerouted shipment $11 per package.
  30. Residential Delivery Charge for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground, $2.50 per package.
  31. Residential Delivery Charge for FedEx Home Delivery, $2.20 per package.
  32. Residential Delivery Charge FedEx Express,$100 per shipment.
